I think the main point is that "be yourself, and be honest about what you like & don't like." When I tried to please everyone by trying to fit in when I was younger, I got a lot of enemies. When I just relaxed and did not care about what other people think about my looks or opinions as I got older, I get surrounded by more people...and unexpected admirers, too. Hehehe . So don't try to fit in, be different..be comfortable with being different Sure, other people will find you weird..but they will get used to it. Sure, everyone won't be your best buddies..but who cares. You would want to be around people who accept you and jive with you. Being "weird" is better than being branded as "fake".
