3DS Games YOU NEED in 2023

The Nintendo eShop for both the 3DS and WiiU will be permanently closing on March 27, 2023. Only a few weeks away, so it is time to make some quick purchases before it's too late! I have listed 3DS Games I highly recommned everyone purchase as I know the games are gems!

Be sure to check out the eShop and treat yourself to some amazing 3DS games. Based on my other video , I have stated so many reasons why I believe the 3DS is the best device of all time. So I do highly recommend everyone head over to the eShop!

Unfortunately, I forgot to include some 3DS games I highly enjoy and love myself! These games are also on the eShop that I do recommend (Luigi's Mansion, Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask & The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds)

Animal Crossing New Leaf was so fantastic. I hope the next AC game is modeled more after that than New Horizons on Switch.

I think an honorable mention for the RPGs you have recommended is Fantasy Life. It's quirky, it good for those who want to go adventuring and those who just like the casual aspects. Filled to the brim with different classes and skills. For those who don't mind the grind, it is a pretty fun game. Sad to say that with the shop closing today, the Origins Island DLC that was purchasable opened up more fun filled adventures and other collectibles for those who strive for 100% completion, like me.

a few more games that deserve to be mentioned are:

Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon - This game gets some criticism for the design of the ghosts but I find it fitting to the Luigi series. It’s a ton of fun, splitting the journey across multiple mansions. The Multiplayer is fun.

Epic Mickey Power of Illusion - A mash up of multiple Disney characters that need to be rescued that provide many benefits across your journey. This game makes great use of the bottom screen of the 3DS.

Shovel Knight Treasure Trove - EVERYONE must play this game. It’s very addicting and it’s unlike any other game. This game is genuinely challenging and poses many challenges. Great level design that matches to what class you choose.

It was the hearts that made me subscribe. I mean, it’s also because I like your content and I recently bought my first 3DS, but the hearts were the deciding factor.
Actually I like them so much that I had a pair tattooed on my own cheeks. Now I’ve decided that it’s my life’s purpose to make the world a better place by altruistically painting hearts on the cheeks of as many people as possible. Some of them play funny jokes by shouting things like “Get him off me JESUS GET HIM OFF ME!” or thanking me with an affectionate punch (to the face). Some of them even make an ironic show of pretending to try and escape, but I know how much they secretly want a set of hearts so I don’t stop till I’ve caught them and made sure they’re properly behearted.
Sometimes people in dark uniforms start chasing me, and they must REALLY want to be given cheekhearts cos they keep yelling “Stop where you are!” and “Hands behind your head, NOW!” (obviously they want to properly admire my magnificent heart tats), but they’re so keen on it that they actually seem kind of agitated, so I just run away.
It doesn’t work the other way around, by the way. I tried dressing up in scrubs and sneaking into the surgical theatre of my local hospital, but painting cheeks on a heart just doesn’t look anywhere near as good, plus I got shouted at a lot :(

Most of the games you listed are made by Nintendo. These are the top sellers so most people have the ones they want. Leaving out games by Capcom, Level 5 and Atlus, for example, is a shame. No Professor Layton, Ace Attorney, Shin Megami Tensei, Radiant Historia, Etrisn Odyssey, Fantasy Life, Ever Oasis, Yo-Kai Watch...

Also the Ace Attorney and some Resident Evil games are on sale for $4 each right now, Its an absolute steal!

As for everyday house tamagotchi it’s too bad it didn’t work in some English versions of 3ds/2ds consoles because of region lock….. 😢

Such a bummer they pulled the plug on the shops. Still, thanks for making this list! I decided to snag Metroid Prime Hunters through the WiiU eshop so I could enjoy it on the big screen.

Looking forward to any Switch videos you'll be putting out but hopefully you'll keep talking about DS/3DS stuff. Maybe you'll find a mom & pop game store with a treasure trove of titles to purchase? lol

A lot of these are fairly cheap and are available physically, so luckily the eshop closure won't effect them much

Most of these videos are stuck on AAA titles, but there is a lesser know series that I fell in love with is Silver Falls. These games expand 3DS, Wii U, and Switch. With only a solo developer making these games was incredible before the end and each game is a different play style worth getting them. Also the series is continuing on the Switch.

I like my 3DS some of the exclusive games on that system like super smash bros for 3DS Mario Party the top 100 and super Mario 3D land offer something unique and different than the Nintendo switch I think it’s really cool!
