During covid, they have no reason to go back to work, they do not feel safe. Employers are not giving enough wages or hours in the week. The great resignation movement is here to stay. This is the best time to start a new hustle, learn a new skill, chase your ambition, change your career. There is a deeper reason why Americans are resigning from their jobs. It has less to do with covid but more to do with happiness and mental health. The great resignation is that employees are quitting at a record pace to find alternate careers. That is why there is a massive shortage of American labor. US workers are quitting jobs every month because they realize life is too short. We lost 500,000 people during covid, so why not do something meaningful? US workers are quitting because of stress, traffic, broken families, lack of time. More and more Americans quitting their jobs in hopes to find something more meaningful.
There is a huge shortage of American labor in this market. Even though unemployment is low, fewer Americans are applying for jobs these days. There is a great resignation movement going on in the American labor market right now.

This is an eye opener. You are so at point with your information. People would rather chill back and spend time w family and survive on their unemployment than go to work outside and deal w rude customers and bosses who dont appreciate them.

Been in the electrical industry for last 20yrs, got laid off in beginning of covid, turned my side hustles in construction building fences, decks and small renovations, I’m back in the electrical industry but the money I’m making in a month I’m making that in a week or less in construction. So now I’m thinking about going into the insurance business which will give the ability to earn a lot more money on my own time and give me more of it to grow my construction business. 2022 is the year it’s gonna happen.
