How to Fix Failure When Attempting to Copy Boot Files, bcdboot Repair Windows (Tutorial) Hi guys, here I showed up how to fix failure when attempting to copy boot files on windows 10, windows 8.1 and windows 7.
Sometimes a Windows computer user may encounter with this problems during to fix boot configuration data. Some users said that after continuing necessary boot repair processes they got this “Failure when attempting to copy boot files” when they came to these final steps. such as -
" bcdboot C:\windows /l en-us /s (your assign drive letter): /f BIOS or UEFI or EFI or All”
And
“bcdboot c:\windows /s (your assign drive letter): /f BIOS or UEFI or EFI or All ".
However, if you have encountered an error during to fix windows Boot Repair then this video will definitely help you to solve your problem.

Thanks, I deleted OS on EasyBCD by mistake and couldnt boot. this fixed it.

i just followed your first commands, but i rename the z: with c: and then its printed the boot files created successfully, then i reboot my laptop and plug out my bootable device, and... boommm!!! its worked!! thanks a lot!

after attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s it says: path not found - C:\boot

This is for a non-UEFI system. Doesn't help anyone looking for help with UEFI boot systems.

didn't work. it says "the store export operation has failed". also "the system cannot find the path specified"
