1) Alderaan was a peaceful Planet, they had no weapons. 2) The Death Star was in range the whole time. It worked this way on Yavin because, thanks to the laws of gravity, the Death Star had to work it's way around Yavin to get a clear shot at the fourth moon. 3) The rebels didn't get any really good ships to fight back with until the Mon Calamari showed up in Return of the Jedi.

i played through it recently, i was not amussed though agressor class star destroyers are awesome.

I know that, but if you think about it for a minute....if the hull would be finished the rebells couldn´t fly straight to the energycore and blow it up.

Why do the death star sound effects cause the narration to degrade into ear rape

@wedge128 well everything is set to maximum with screen res of 1280x1024 then converted it to avi format

I loved it when dozens of ships would explode on both sides and yet more ships are hyped in...I did this particular battle on hard and it was like an endless wave of reinforcements on their side.

lol the death star is great i just prefer to have all planets and yea wen i first got it i destroyed as much as i could lol

those ships came with the death star all i had to do was last a few the level finished it said no losses :)

@auroraionaa It does have engines! It has two hyperdrives... very huge hyperdrives, in fact:)

@nozc We appreciate your concern as a star warrior but I can explain everything.
1)It is true that Alderaan is a peaceful planet but that dosen't mean it didn't have any allies.
2)Maybe so but if the Empire wasn't given an obstacle it would have made the level really easy.
3)The rebels did have cruisers around that time as it is indicated in TFU2.

@brendanklass get it from Steam its cheap only for a few bucks you get the basic game and the expension... and you got no cd/dvd ...
