I’m on the waiting list for CBT for anxiety through the NHS. The wait is 16 weeks so I’m trying to find things I can do that help in the mean time. This is very helpful thank you! ❤

Doing God’s work mate, never stop. Your effort is greatly appreciated and has helped me immeasurably on my anxiety journey. I’m just wondering, my core belief is my heart will stop one day and I will go into cardiac arrest after a bout of palpitations so how do I change this? I’ve had blood tests, ECGs and been examined by at least 15 doctors who all say I appear fit and healthy. But I get heart thuds, skipped heart beats and weird flutters all the time. As well as chest pain and tightness. This time last month I couldn’t leave my bed or shower, out of fear of raising my heart rate. I can walk the dog and shower again now and even do my own shopping but yesterday I had a massive bout of palpitations after walking the dog and was convinced I was having a fib and was surely going to die. I’m now fearful to walk my dog further than a block now.

Ok but this worst case scenario for health anxiety is I DIE. So how so we fix that. It is inevitible. Something is going to get me. We are all waiting around and this might be the thing. 😢 Guess I need to go rewatch the video about uncertainty. 😒 Having health anxiety is so hard and its so embarrassing.
