Cognitive behavioral therapy saved my life!! I started therapy with 10 years of built up anxiety and after 9 months of cognitive behavior therapy I was like a brand new person!! Haven't had a panic attack in forever

cbt requires a good client-therapist relationship, very goal orienated based emphasizes the present and is structured with collaboration and active participation

Best video so far in CBT. I practiced this “self therapy” through the toughest times of my life and to me the most important step was FOCUS ON WHAT YOU HAVE CONTROL IVER IT, and do something about it, loosing my mind over things I didn’t have control over it was just pushing me down and making me feel worst (really stupid if you look it up from outside, in my opinion). Take car you’all and use your mind wisely

The comments below were more helpful than the video. Oh you feel your life is going down the crapper (1:20), text a friend to go for coffee. (2:30) Wow I feel so much better, thanks CBT! You changed my life. (3:30) How this was the first recommended video that came up when I searched Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is beyond me. After the video I was no closer to really understanding what it is.

I want to go to a therapy so bad. I know I need help. Sometimes, my head just keeps yelling “help me!”. Kinda suck that I’m in a country where people kinda dismiss mental illness. I’m just hoping I can get out of this by myself and get out of this country to get some proper help.

I cried saying everything to my therapist she just watched me crying. She doesn't care about me. She just smiles. I said to her i couldn't sleep, she haven't helped anything about that. Just suggested me to do breathing exercises

CBT changed my life. It's definitely good for people with hard childhoods. After treatment, I have male friends, my mom and I have a great relationship, and im a better father. If you're interested, stop looking at videos.. go find a Dr!

I personally find CBT combined with medication has been the most helpful. Feel like the medication really helps out with the physical and the CBT helps with rewiring the mind/spirit to engage in positive practices and recognize triggers.
