I am a "graduate" of Emmie's SOS program. I have struggled with weight loss/binging/negative voices in my head for 50 years. Emmie's program helped release me from my "diet demons!" Since September 13, 2020, I have not had a binge episode since last September. Emmie's program has taught me to eat when I am hungry and to stop when I am full, what it feels like to be truly satiated and content with my meal...thanks to Emmie and SOS, I am a freer person, I focus on foods that fuel my body and have time, energy and desire to pursue other activities, hobbies; not to mention, I am 20 pounds lighter!!! In all honesty, this was really my last-ditch effort to gain control of my eating. I have spent a lifetime trying to find the right "diet!" Thank goodness, I took the plunge! This isn't a diet, it is my lifestyle. Great, great, great video, Emmie...Sparkles, Joy and Blessings!!! ✨🎉🙏💕

The opposite of Addiction is CONNECTION! wow!
Fulfilling LIFE - in the presence of other people - doing something that makes me connected to MYSELF & others
Stress relieve in the presence of yourself & then also others
Engage in Acts of Service - Give & Get - Serve others in the Love you have

1. Identify what emotion you are getting from this binge eating
2. Form a connection with others
3. Engage in acts of service

Thanks for this video!

I get nothing from binge eating, it is an urge, impossible to get rid of(I can drag it for days/more than a week) but eventually it takes over. It gives me grief, huge physical discomfort, sickness and insane disappointment. I think I reach for it for stress relief but eventually end up even more stressed.

Such an amazing video Emmie! Everyone needs this. I started volunteering this year for a local animal shelter photographing dogs and helping them get adopted and it is the most fulfilling thing I have done in a really long time. Now I’m definitely seeking out more acts of service, it’s almost selfish because I get so much out of it far beyond the time I spend, it really fills up my heart.♥️

I love this video! This is so accurate. For years I dealt with depression and eating disorders. Last year, I found the starch solution and learned how to eat intuitively. All the emotions that I was suppressing from isolating myself and binge and purging came up to the surface to be seen. I finally stopped ignoring these emotions and started exploring them. Now I find hobby’s and people to lean on to cope with heavy dense emotions instead of food. I am finally starting to turn my pain into my purpose by going to school for yoga therapy and holistic nutrition. So I can serve people going through this process with healthy healing modalities. Anyways, just thought I’d share how much life can change when you take off the masks and imbue your awareness inwards. Struggling with disordered eating can turn into the biggest blessing. This live style change is truly a life changing and your videos have helped me every step of the way. From the bottom of my heart Emmie thank you so much. You have no idea how much these videos have impacted my life. 🦋🌈✨🌼❤️🙏🥰

I already do all of these, this will not make anyone stop binging. Because there are enough hours in a day where there are moments where you are alone and not at yoga or volunteering.

Thank you for this short and very sweet video Emmie. I keep saying that you honestly were born to reach. You convey so eloquently and effectively, I could listen to you all day and night! Thank you for breaking down topics to a level of complete understanding and you are so beautiful too 🥰💖

I think you have a direct line into my heart Emmie. I don't think it's coincidence that the video you released immediately after my first call with you 9 weeks ago was exactly what I needed to hear (bingeing on veggies). Likewise, in light of my call with you this morning... this video is exactly what I needed to hear :) Much love

Wow..very deep, and thought-provoking. I need to really meditate on this, because I'm SO sick of doing great then falling off, against again. Thanks, Emmie

So good! I shared your video with another you tube person that struggles with binge eating - I wish I could get you two together because I think you could really help. Her name is Beatrice Caruso and she's such a sweetheart.

What a wonderful way to view an addictive behavior around food! I’m currently recovering from anorexia that turned into bulimia and then into binge eating, where I am now trying to create a loving relationship with food. Is there space here for some tips or your thoughts on how the way you teach people to connect with food and the SOS diet can help people recovering from eating disorders?
