🙋‍♀️ Hi, my name is Charlotte Fraza a second year PhD student in Computational Neuroscience at the Donders institute in the Netherlands. With this Channel I hope to teach the world about Computational Neuroscience and give current and prospective students the tools to enter this field. I hope you enjoy the videos ❤️.

Environment includes the social aspect too. For instance if you want to become a writer hang out with successful published writers. If you want to become a polyglot hang out with people for whom learning multiple languages are the norm. Etc.

What's been working for me are the flexible habits, meaning that I have a routine set but if for whatever reason I can't do something at certain time I do it as soon as I have a chunk of time.

Hello Charlotte I liked the point where you mentioned we need to make small changes over a long period of time rather than a drastic changes to achieve our goals(Going to bed 15 mins early rather than going to bed at 9pm example).
I would also like to hear from you about the neuroscience of being disciplined even in difficult times and how we can control our emotions(like anger, fear etc.) from derailing us from our paths.

Hi Charlotte, Merci pour vos videos sur le sujet du neurosciences. When it comes to motivation, inspiration plays a big part for me. When I’m inspired by seeing someone achieving a goal or seeing someone being kind or generous, the inspiration gives me the energy/motivation to do something similar. Knowing your Archetypes and what drives you also helps because you then know what floats your boat, what brings you joy… even when things get tough, because you know you are working towards something bigger than you… your Vision, your ideal life.

Cool ! As biology student I'm always fascinated by neuroscience.
Could you make a video on effect way to study by using our full brain potential.

Really find it inspiring and quite motivational watching your video, I would purely appreciate a list of resources;online university’s and courses online for those that are looking to gain Ph.D in neuroscience[ neurosurgeon, phycologist, etc..]😊 Thank you .

Hey, I’ll like to know if you could shed more light on computational neuroscience as a master’s degree ?

Hello Charlotte, for a long time I have had slight difficulty in focusing, and recently I visited two doctors and they said I might have ocd and adhd but.
I talked with some adhd students ( their symptoms was more sever than me) they suggested to continue the sessions and diagnose completely.
but others say you don't need diagnose it completely and just improve weak points that you realized them .
could you please make a video about these students and when they should visit psychiatrist to diagnose that completely or just but simply learning about subtle methods to improve their productivity. (in general should we have holistic view to our personality and characters or we should go in details for them? which one works better to improve personality (habits) and consequently productivity? )

Hey Charlotte! Your videos are great, and they are big reason I’ve been able to get interested in Neuroscience. Big thanks for that.

Question: what sort of major would you recommend between statistics and something like applied mathematics?

Thanks!
