A-Z Of Commodore 64 Hidden Gems - Letter K

Hey whatsup guys OSG here with another A-Z of Commodore 64 Hidden Gems video and this is the letter ive been struggling with….K. There are a few good games like katakis but really they were a bit thin on the ground and some may not be really hidden to some of you… but ive tried my best to pick the lesser known ones and for me found a few real gems to play.

So without more delay lets take a look at the A-Z of commodore 64 Hidden Gems beginning with K in order of greatness.

Kombat is just the Italian language translation of SAS Combat Simulator from Codemasters. LOL. That's probably why you couldn't find it on YT.

King's Valley is a pretty good game on the C64. However, it was only released last year. Superb conversion of a classic MSX game

One to consider for the Letter M: "Moons" (There's a longplay on YouTube), which was one of those games that came as a Machine Language source code listing in a magazine by Markt + Technik. It's a bit slow, but the music and colors are great. Not an all-time-classic, but I remember it fondly (after spending several hours over the course of a week typing in the listing)

Again, all new to me apart from Kombat ;)Love the tune on Killler Ring, Key Finders looks good and Kamikaze. Not a bad bunch as you said K was gonna be tough. Nice one :)

I can confirm I had _Kombat_ on the Commodore 64. It was on a compilation cassette with three other games (one of them was called _Thunderbolt_ or something like that, a horizontal vintage planes shooter). I remember playing it a lot too. Thought I'd share that.

My 10 lesser known Kendo Warrior, Kentilla (decent game, great music!!), Key Finders, Kid Grid, Killed Until Dead (one of my faves ever!), Killerwatt, Kings Of The Beach, Knight Orc, Kwik Snax

Never knew that *King`s Bounty* got a C64 port.
*Kamikaze* looks like a great alternative to *Wings of Fury* (which is great)

As fpr the number 1, outstanding game. I played the Amiga version and later on the megadrive, but to find it on C64...thats a well deserved game for the system...

Well done buddy on getting the list done and i got to see 9 game i never got to try and now have to try. An kings bounty was a class game and is well worth a full play through, well roll on the L's as i can't wait to see what you come up with. Keep up the great work and catch you on the next one :-) Ps, only games i can recall for the the letter L is Laser Squad and Lords of Chaos same kinda of game one with guns and other with magic both super fun to play one or two player :-)

Awesome video....love Combat and will try and find that as never seen it before. Was hoping Killer Ring would be in there too. Keys to Maramon is another I am going to have to find as it looks brilliant. My favourite game starting with K is Koronis Rift but that is hardly a hidden gem. Bring on L
