A-Z Of Commodore 64 Hidden Gems - Letter U

Hey what’s up guy’s A-Z time again. I’m OSG and today I’ll be taking you through 10 games beginning with U that I would class as a Hidden Gem…..ok so I’ve had to diverse a bit in this video from the criteria and for a few games the hidden bit may not apply but all the games on this list are great games and worthy of Gem status at least.
To be honest I was surprised that I could get 10 good not so well known games out of U and thought that I might have even had to have Uridium in…but no…I’ve managed and not only that but they are all pretty damn good.
So without more delay let’s take a look at The A-Z of Commodore 64 hidden gems beginning with U in order of Greatness.

Oh, that second Ugh! game looks just like Firequest to me. Turns out Firequest is the sequel to Ugh! by the same programmer. I had no idea!

Ugh! (the Space Taxi one) was a favourite back then, though I played it more on the Amiga.

I think you're right to show Ultimate Wizard because even here in NTSC land where it was made, it's not very well known, living very much in the shadow of its inspiration, Jumpman. Fans of Ultimate Wizard often like it way better than Jumpman. And I think it was only released on disk, so many in UK/EU will never have seen it.

I thought I had seen Uninvited before, I like how they list the exits in the side bar and the game looks well presented.

I played the hell out of Up periscope loved it back in the day. Only other game i played starting with the letter U was Ulysses and the golden fleece, wasn't a big fan of it tho as i use to get stuck a lot haha. Great video as always buddy so keep up the great work an roll on the next one 👍

the music on ultimate wizard sounds like the music on that other game where it has freezing and you jump from platform to platform, i cant be bothered to go back and look but looks a good game.
