I'm happy you got your Mojo back ❤. I lost mine almost 4 years ago, and whilst I still buy materials and make detailed plans I'm still waiting for things to change. One day soon hopefully, 🙂

I went through a series of losses, had a major physical issue, suffered through record heat (118 f hot), had depression and anxiety about US politics. “Lost” about 18 months to exhaustion and depression. I learned it’s important to a) accept I need recovery downtime; b) treat myself with as much care as I would a loved relative; c) stop expecting myself to do anything productive for awhile, and tell myself it’s ok to lie in bed, watch shows, read, talk on the phone; d) take advantage of services that deliver groceries; e) let myself say “no” to any social invitations I’m not up to; f) get blood work done and ask doctor to look into why I was so tired. She discovered I was severely deficient in vitamin D.

I now feel better. Not best, but slowly recovering. Thank you Lel and Martin for another beautiful project! I love the stamping!

Never really thought about painting designs on bare wood, but it's lovely. I especially love the intricate miniature flowers. Finding your channel helped me with the grief of losing my beloved husband. Whether it's grief or burnout, it is so important to be kind to yourself and find joy wherever you can. You and Martin have been a joy for me. BTW, it was so adorable to have Eddy tell us there would be no video last week. You both are so clever.

Good advice Lel. Rest is not laziness. It is necessary for life. ❤️

Like many other Americans, I am living with high anxiety because of our political climate. I love this piece. It was peaceful watching you paint it and the overall effect of the natural wood with the hand stamping is fabulous and calming so thank you for all of us who are struggling! and Two questions. What gold paint do you use and I think I I missed all the info with furniture in a box😉 but sure how that happened but it did

Lel and Martin, you are so lovely and generous, thank you! I`he never painted furniture but have been watching your channel for about 3 months, just entranced and inspired by your beautiful art. I'm starting small, painting ornaments for gifts but have 3 pieces to try once I get some supplies. You have brought me so much joy to see what's possible.

I did a ton of dishes, and watching you do this is my reward. I love the painted stamps on the bare wood. The contrast is lovely.
I came for the painting, but got therapy with it!!! Boy, did I need it. I've been so depressed and anxious it scared me. I think a lot of it is fear about our election, but it's also an accumulation of little things and not so little things for 4 straight years. I think a "strega" put a curse on me😂
I'm so grateful for all of your comforting words, Lel, in addition to the inspiring tutorial.

Marty, you sound awful. Take Lel's advice and rest, rest, rest.

Much love to both of you and a hug for Eddie too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

You make me happy to be retired. Although motivation can be challenging when most deadlines are self imposed. My pup and I walk to the zoo and check on the rescued baby bears. They frolic, climb trees, play in the water, and are joyful to watch. Recently, the little girl bear got an infection, and they couldn't save her. So very sad.

When im blocked I watch LIL! I have noticed some of your influence in my work. I work as an RN 60 hours a week night shift and am 68 yr old. I squeeze in time for art and that is what keeps me going. Rhank you for yet another lovely video.

What a great piece for someone who can't afford lots of paint and supplies. Just a few colors and brushes...a stamp or two...

Highly creative, yet simple! Great for the brain, hands and soul.

Good on ya, woman!❤

I think this is one of my favorite pieces you’ve done. Amazing since I’m not a fan of pink with blue but I love what you’ve done. I love your decoupage papers and I own quite a few, if you can (I like to decorate used wooden cigar boxes) and so I do need more smaller designs. Just a thought. Hope you and Martin feel better soon. Have the best day!

I love the stamping directly over the wood. It is lovely. I can see how it is a healthy mind numbing pattern. I use coloring apps on my phone and it really takes my mind off things. Great piece!

I have a couple of projects on the go, with me its my health, which controls my energy levels, i had to lean to relax time wise and to work when i can and rest inbetween, luckily for me its not about income, but it is frustrating to want to get on with a project and not be able too. You can lose your focus sometimes. You always make stamping look great and i am improving. A lovely piece and a great mix with the wood. Thank you for keeping it real.

I like how you stamped directly on the wood for a different look. Beautiful results!
