3 Exercises to Fix Your Walking Technique Part 2. These exercises will help you improve your walk and increase your mind-body connection. Learn how to root your leg without pushing and locking your knees. Learn how to shift your weight forward correctly. Learn how to avoid leaning forward when you walk. Reduce the impact on your feet with every step you take. These exercises will help you feel how the rotation of your core translates to movement of the whole body. All of our movements are guided by rotation of the core, but this is usually no visible. You have to feel it to understand it. These exercises will help you to feel it. Your teaching has helped my walking. I always check my posture and feet placement a few times during my walk. When I feel a issue with my feet or legs or back I again recheck my posture and foot placement. Thank you for your detailed teaching.

excellent. the first exercise is pure gold to help with the awareness of the movement. the pushing/pulling matter is clear in theory, but in practice i always struggle. i hope the shuffle exercise can help. thx

Per your suggestion (live stream) I have mastered the upper rotation of the core!! Still working on understanding how the lower ab rotation and pelvis "tuck" works however . . . From this video, could you please explain with more detail on what you mean by a "rise"? I don't see any rise when filmed from the side. The s l o w methodical movements (as seen at 4:45 & at 5:45) are super helpful to get the mind to grasp what to do. (Thanks!!) Question: at 8:17 what exactly do you mean by "activate the hip muscle in the front". How do you DO that?? I hope you realize how much these videos mean to your viewers and how your detailed explanations help us figure out the proper way to move. Thank you very much!!

Thanks for the video. Are the glutes more involved in running? Does looking at someone running expose imbalances more so compared to analysing them walking?
