Hirsutism is male pattern hair growth in women. Its root cause is insulin resistance. Insulin and cortisol play a critical role in insulin resistance. Both insulin and cortisol levels need to be low to reverse the symptoms related to high androgen levels that lead to Hirsutism in women.
