My mom and sister have always had constipation versus I’ve gone 💩 3 to 5 times a day. Both were always much smaller than me. Makes sense.

I have never my whole life had any doctor I’ve seen discuss side effects of any drug I was put on, temporarily or otherwise, but they absolutely make sure they tell you their following guidelines of this organization or that one which to me means absolutely nothing, for instance your primary doctor shouldn’t be prescribing statins imo, it’s a cardiac medication which should be prescribed by a cardiologist not a nurse practitioner. Please people, do your own research before taking any drug, protect yourself, don’t rely on others to do it for you.

I am a bariatric surgery Pt with EDS and MCAS among other things. A lot of my peers have gastroparesis. Many of us have a different problem where our stomachs empty too fast. Gastroparesis from Mounjaro has been great for me. However, I know a Pt with Gastroparesis who was given Mounjaro. I wonder if this could have been a cause for permanent gastroparesis. She won’t admit this, but I believe she did not disclose this to her provider.

Unless you suffer from it, I'm sure that it isn't a big deal. As a diabetic who has been using Ozempic, and now I have gastroparesis. I can't sleep, eat, or even drink water without vomiting because of the gas that builds up in my guts. It's more than uncomfortable, you are in lots of pain. What a Jackwagon!
