India is projected to surpass China as the world's most populous country next year, according to a report by the United Nations on Monday which said that the world population is forecast to reach eight billion by mid-November 2022.

We should be ashamed, we never have taken any measures to curb population.China realised and did it in 1979 with "One or None" .We still treat single child parents as odd human beings in our society.atleast when it was 84 crores in 1991 we should have brought in One child policy and recognise all those single child parents irrespective of any reason
