What this chick didn't know was that:

A. Before she even asked the question, Ben had a ten minute answer ready.
B. While she was asking the question he was editing it down to thirty seconds and
C. While he was answering the question he was simultaneously anticipating her follwup question and the response to that as well as also scanning the next questioner and anticipating his or her question AND thinking about what's for dinner later

I love how she tried to be condescending to irritate him and make him react. It's a common questioners tactic when all they want is to be right rather than to be factually correct.

My grandfather was physically abused as a child by his stepfather and ran away at age 13. The day he ran away he took his stepfather's cane and beat him with it. He joined the military at age 16 and served in the Korean war. He then worked for uranium plant in southern Ohio as did my dad's stepfather and my great uncle, they all three got cancer and passed away. My grandfather passed away at the age of 83 from kidney cancer. I can say I was privileged to meet the man who stopped the cycle of violence and persevered in the face of adversity. "White privilege" is a racist term, that's stereotyping all white people as privileged. It's just another word to divide. When is the last time you heard unity? See where the word white privilege will get you in the next 50 to hundred years from now. It will you keep you in the same place you are now, if you keep looking for reasons how you're being opposed.
