THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK have SEVERE anxiety and I woke up and my new phone wouldn't charge, I tried cleaning the USB and even though I couldn't see any gunk come out IT WORKED! It worked before I could work myself into a panic and wake my BF up and piss everyone off to start the day so THANK YOU! YOU saved my day off. There are people on eBay who charge very reasonable rates to repair charging ports, screens, replace batteries.

My phone seems to recognize the cable going in but only shows how much battery is left and won’t charge. It’s a tcl android. Any advice would be helpful. The port seems to be clear. Nothing came out with my toothpick. I’ve tried every cable with plugging it in to a portable charger and it still won’t charge.
