I’m a GR user and I’d miss the rocker switch on the back and I always want more not fewer customizable buttons. Flash is no big loss if high-ISO performance is improved. Good to hear that sharpness is good. Looking forward to your more in-depth review as I’ve come to value your opinions in other reviews.

Excellent video, as usual! I too have bought this camera and it’s my ‘Go-To’ camera - in other words, it’s with me all the time. The first gadget I would like to suggest is .... attach a ‘Thumb Up’ accessory on the hot-shoe. Several versions are available via Amazon, but choose the one that’s comfortable for you and able to access the camera’s mode dial. I ‘re-engineered’ the original Thumbs-Up accessory, which was originally made for the Leica X1 - so that I am able to use the cold-shoe to attach an optical viewfinder (I use the Fujifilm’s 28/21mm OVF I originally bought for the X70).
Second gadget worth considering is a ‘Slip-on Lens Cap’ (56mm fits perfectly on my GRiii) - basically, to protect the ‘fragile’ lens shield when carrying the camera in a coat pocket but not in a soft pouch. However, remember to remove the slip-on cap before the camera is switched on ... you have been warned!

All i know is any time you make a review i almost instantly consider the camera. I bought the grii and leica TL because of your reviews and man has it changed my shooting style. Ill be getting a gr-iii as soon as it is available . Thanks Mattias, for reviewing this one
