with this method.

If you're going to go that far, just buy a pack of replacement parts and desolder the old and resolder new stick components lol

I tried to fix a Joy con with stick drift once. Now for context, I have done an RGH 3 mod, a bunch of soldering, a Picom8 setup without a battery backup and a bunch of other stuff. BUT THE SECOND I TRIED FIXING DRIFT MY BODY WAS BARELY HOLDING ONTO MY SOUL IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING.

You can squeeze some rubbing alcohol in while moving it around until smooth again, and see if that works., just let dry before use again.

All my Controllers wear out. So I get a new controllers every year. Maybe my hands are like sandpaper. They get rubbed so smooth you don't realize it until you get a new controller. LOL just like my computer keyboards. Shiny keys show where my fingers always are.

They're called spudgers and they're very easy to find.

In what universe are security bits and prybars hard to find? Literally any electronics repair kit will have those...
