How to fix stick drift on your controller

This is an easy and simple fix to stick drifting on your controller. It works for both PS5 and PS4 controllers. It fixes all majors errors with your controller and not only stickdrifting

Hello, kind of late but hope this would be helpful to any fellow gamers. First, get hand sanitizer or any type of rubbing alcohol, next squeeze a droplet or two underneath the joystick (make sure to put it on the “ball” of the joystick). After you do that move the joystick around in a circle motion multiple times, and there you have it. A nice a fresh controller.

P.S. this cleans the sensors and removes dirt and grime.

My stick drift is horrendous. I started getting it last year with the right stick where the camera would go up. It would stop after a minute but will return. It wasn't too bad. Then the left stick got the issue too where the drift is to the left. It wasnt too bad until recently where the drift suddenly become much more powerful. Sometimes it would actually completely stop but some days it would return full force. It is even worse now that i started playing souls games. This has killed me more times than the enemies lol

Real way is to open it up and clean the gunk out of the stick. Fixed mines.

This only works if its an issue with the censor when connected to console 👍
If there is dirt or stuff inside, it wont fix it

Edit: it did for a few minutes but then stopped. What actually world was litteraly disassembling the intire controller and opening the joystick and cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol

They made all the games stick oriented because they knew this was a problem and the best way to fix it was to buy a new controller. Button drift was never a thing

I'm literally fighting The stick drift in the left & right stick, just tryna scroll on Netflix or YouTube and the control takes me the other way, then when I find something the stick drift starts rewinding my video. 🤦🏾‍♂️
