I used the rubbing alcohol method. Looks like it works, but I have a feeling I may have to do it again at some point in the future.

This may solve a dirty or dusty controller but does not sort a faulty analogue module. The modules are cheap and only have a certain amount of revolutions before the manufacture says they would require replacement. Same modules in ps5, Xbox, Nintendo controllers

Have you ever come across stick drift that appears to cause interaction between both sticks? For example, in first person games, if I pull back on the left stick, I begin to turn to the right.

Yeah I'm that old guy and I got to fixing my PS5 controller and holy shit my right stick works! Tried out Tekken 8 and I don't see Lidia having a seizure on my main menu, Tried out MW3 Firing Range and I'm giddy with excitement and I just got done fighting the last Ghostflame Dragon in Elden Ring.

(UPDATE 24HRS LATER)
....Nah, My PS5 right stick is heavily drifting harder than Vin Disel hitting whips. Fighting Consort Radahn with a bad stick drift is NOT easy at all.

Bro I had stick drift for 2 years on my ps5 controller I tried everything I even opened it and took it apart and cleaned it it didn’t work but by just using a q-tip and some old cologne I fixed it Ty bro because my only working controller was fried because my friend pour a coke in it so I fixed the one with stick drift like actually I love you
