How a Samurai Made Miso From His Bottom #Shorts

Показать описание
The warlord who ended the 150-year-long Sengoku war era and established the Edo period, which lasted more than250 years of peace, was Tokugawa Ieyasu.
While his exceptional perseverance and clever political skills have much to teach us today, did you know that there are actually some very embarrassing episodes of him?
At the young age of 29, Ieyasu was forced to fight Takeda Shingen, who was considered the strongest man in the Sengoku war era. Ieyasu’s army was crushed by Shingen’s, losing more than 1,000 men.
Ieyasu desperately managed to escape, but he was so scared that he pooped his pants on the way. This is already embarrassing enough, but what’s worse is the excuse he said to his subordinates to hide his embarrassment…
No no no, this is just my emergency ration miso!
However, Ieyasu later had a portrait drawn of his pitiful expression and posture so that he would never forget the humiliation for the rest of his life. The fact that he was able to face his own failures head-on is definitely a trait of someone who will later become the final winner of the Sengoku war era.
