John 19: 34 "One of the soldiers, however, pierced his side with a spear, and immediately blood and water flowed out." That is a description of serousanguanous fluid, this fluid would have filled his lungs during crucifixion as he would not be able to properly breath or have proper blood flow around his lungs, he would have drown in that fluid, and by the time that happens to a person they are dead, without a doubt.

He died the most humiliating and most painful way because he wanted to pay for our sins because WE can never pay it's debt. He alone did that, DIED for us because he loved us too much he wanted us to be with him in the Kingdom. Imagine a God who's so loving he died for you just so you will be with him rejoicing and yet you keep on rejecting His Word because you want to live in THIS world full of greed, malice, and destruction. The Gospels and the letters of the New Testament are clear that Jesus was brutally beaten, scoured, crucified, and dead before taken off from that execution pole/cross, and put into a tomb. These same writings also clearly state the resurrection of Jesus from the dead on the third day, and His several appearances to His disciples after that before He ascended to heaven before their eyes. And the Apostles were willing to lose everything, being tortured, and brutally murdered for these claims.
