His wrist, elbow, and shoulder was dislocated, his arms 9 inches longer than normal. His ribcage was pulled up and protruded outwards, his knees at a permanent 45 degree angle, putting constant pressure and pain throughout his body. Just to breathe he had to press his toes and push, and pull himself up. Even the Romans had offered him a drink before to numb his pain, yet he refused and willingly died this way anyway. Yeshua's body was unrecognizable, his skin and body were torn all over, beaten and bloodied, yet he suffered on that cross for 6 hours. Jesus bore our sins, the horrible sin of mankind, which separated him completely from God, since he cannot look upon sin. He went to hell, and saved souls. He went to hell, and came back just as he promised he would. That is not boring. That is love in action, written for our undeserving eyes. It is a blessing, a gift from God. I can't even put it into words, how great of a gift God has given us, the gift of forgiveness. Even our greatest works see, like filthy rags, period rags it says. Yet he is willing to forgive us. The greatest gift, nothing bout it can even come close to boring, it is the most wonderful, beautiful history the world will ever know. God's instruction manual, just for us.
