Guys that is lower tank is your coolant reserve.

Not sure if needed, but dex cool is the coolant used on certain GM cars including the caddy.

The expansion/ reserve tank underneath has a fill line on the right side of tank( near engine)Fill to that line👍

If you mix traditional coolant with dex cool you could potentially create a gel substance in your coolant system = NO good.

Dexcool is OEM, and works perfectly if you follow your maintenance schedule and change it as required every 5 years. Those who complain about Dexcool usually won't admit they have neglected to follow the maintenance schedule. If you change from Dexcool to regular coolant you cannot then go back to Dexcool. As others have noted, the top tank should be filled with Dexcool to the cold level line. The bottom tank should be filled about halfway also with Dexcool. You should check the levels with the car cold, and parked on a level surface. Do not mix regular coolant and Dexcool.

In the owners Manuel for a 15 Cadi ATS 2.0T, it states that it has to be a mixture of 50% DEXCOOL AND WATER mix.

My confusion is if I must add the mix to the small hole.

Shiii bruh all I can say is check the owners manual it will tell u what part is what nd what it needs but if u don’t got it jus know u can look up the owners manual for ur type of car u got💯

Bruh if any fluids are low that means you have a leak. As for the Dex-Cool it is just another formula OF coolant/antifreeze. Different car makers use different types that is why they are different.
