How to blend clear coat, today im doin a clear blending on a 2008 toyota corolla, using 1k spot blender 3680093

Did you not sand the blend area at all? Or do you think its okay to just spray your clear on the scuffed area and use blender for the overlap? 800 grit for the base coat scuff?

Whats the best grit of sandpaper to use on the blending section, some like you prefer 2000, some 1500 other 800, but some even 3000 to 5000 grit, some say they use finer because they can see the scratches under the blending section is that true ??

Nice! I was wet sanding a touch up with 3000 grit and burned down to the base coat. Do you think I can use this technique to spray the area with touch up and then use this method to top coat it without having to do the whole door?

What about the overspray? I’m going to be doin a Jeep door, small area about 6 inches by three inches, on the doors edge. I’ll take it off the do the paint and clearing.

Hey bro how was the preparation did you spray that on a sanded quarter panel will you spread the blender what were you spray and on top of a sanded finish or was it shiny paint
