I love this channel but I think a great opportunity was missed to highlight many of the wonderful qualities of Iran. It is one of the oldest cultures, and has many contributions to art, literature, music, and science. It is a beautiful country, having high mountains, lush gardens, and also eserts and sea. Iranian youth are highly educated and there is a strong sense of community. People should also understand that the situation today is a direct result of foreign intervention. It will one day regain its freedom and the world will understand how special of a country it is.

e: what I'm saying is there were so many more interesting facts that could have been shared.

I recently discovered alcohol was invented by Persians. Even pizza was invented by Persians and stolen by the Greeks !!! I have Greek descent, married to a Persian and we love to do deep historical dives like this one. It’s insane how much was created by Persians- the first monotheistic religion, utensils, mathematics, irrigation, poetry, windmills, refrigeration, the first ever taxation system, and the worlds first human rights were invented by Persians. Beautiful history and culture that is extremely undervalued and undermined in today’s society! I hope Persians get the respect they deserve one day for all the ways they contributed to the modern world

As an iranian, I am very offended you called us muslim. We aren’t shia, nor sonni or any other type of that bs the government tells us we are. We aren’t muslim and we despise it very much. Please do your research about the people of Iran, not what the government tells you what Iran is. After all, its the people that represent the country, right? Its definitely not the regime, atleast not in Iran’s case.

Siqé, the temporary marriage in Shia Islam can last as little as half an hour… basically they exchange some Arabic words with a Mullah and go do it … the words are in Arabic so most Iranians have no idea what they’re saying 😂😂

The chat of Iranian nation against the Islamic Dictatorship:

Zan/Žan (Woman)
Zendegi/Žyan (Life)
Âzâdi (Freedom)

In 1978/79 when the Mullahs overthrew the Shah, Birth Control was Prohibited. As a result, the population increased exponentially, until the Mullahs recognized their mistake and understood what the cause of their population growth was.
The father of Shah Reza Pahlavi felt that as a Muslim country, that they shouldn't use the "birth of Christ" as the basis for their Year. After recognizing that going by the Birth of Mohammad, would have made them only 1300 years old, but as Zoastrian Persia, they had been in existence for over 2500 years, making them an older country than Christianity
