I gave up on love when I was in my mid30s and have been single ever since. Nearly 50. Everyone I met didn't want to get married and already had kids. I didn't want to settle on those two things and decided to live alone. Whom I now meet have a lot of luggage. multiple exes, alimony payments, kids, etc.

Yep finding love over 50 really is super simple! All you have to do is change everything about yourself and remember these thousand little things! If you can't do that; then you have an attitude problem and don't deserve a mate. Give me a thumbs up if that's how you feel too, man or woman??? Just

It's difficult because by now (our average age, i'm assuming based on the target audience in the title) we - as individuals, for the most part "know who we are". I could not agree more that at this point in life, companionship is more about 2 things: life values and common perspectives about how we want to glide into the sunset so to speak. Common interests and pursuits do NOT make a relationship last ...most ppl that i know in our demographic (say mid 40s to mid 50s) generally don't care anymore about "finding someone" ... they are - almost exclusively, mostly interested in their personal pursuits and doing things that they want to do - solo.

I am over 50, I have been married multiple times and now divorced. I enjoy my life a lot better alone, without all the drama. Finaly my opinion counts!

Great Video ! Frank always does a great job explaining dating, relationships, and sex from a man's point of view. I feel it's important for the person to commit to being Happy first and foremost. Whatever that is. Once a person is comfortable with who they are. Where they are in their lives. Then they can truly bring something to a relationship. I feel that many plus 50 people go into relationships hoping the new partner can remove the hurt and emotional issues from their past. It may be true that they can help and support this. But I feel only the person can truly forgive and let go of this baggage. If this is not done, I believe the new relationship is going to be doomed from the start. The 50's is a scary age for people who are attempting to date again for sure. Be the best person you can be and the person who is satisfied with themselves. Only bring another person into your life if they compliment it. Don't let emotions and feelings of loneliness cloud your judgement.

Silke, love the videos but I have a little comment. In this one I could hear the whole time a sound like someone typing on a keyboard. Just thought you would like to know that. Thanks for everything, so much good stuff I got from your channel! :-)

Great video, Frank and Silke. It makes me sad to see people who've given up on love and are bitter from their past relationships. I'm truly open to love but I've been single for 10 long years. I've learned that my values are kinda old school and it's not easy to find men who share them anymore. But I won't give up because like Frank, I prefer to be in a healthy relationship because I have lots of love to give.

l am 65. l have had no problems finding love after 50. It all starts with you. Lose all the anger and bitterness. Loss the baggage. The hardest problem l see people have is not forgiving. A woman can sense all this in a man and she is gone.
Be yourself if you are a good ma. l heard this time and again from women. Women want a good caring man. Not a self centred prick.
Women will test you for your integrate and strength of character. As he said in the video don't take the first one to come along unless you are very lucky she has your values. There are many good women out there.
A hint you can try younger woman.
