I am buying this because it can be used as wired when in need, especially while logging in and Bluetooth was turned off. I had to always find/borrow or call my friends for a keyboard every time I need to login into my mac system because there were instances where I turn off Bluetooth and shut my system.

I bought mine and I like it. The only issue I've had is that the connection gets lost from time to time. Touch ID is so nice!

This review answered my curiosity about this KB. I'm eager for Space Grey to come out, but seeing that orange.... man. Oh well, we'll just wait here until more colors are offered (although I doubt they will offer more than just a few).

I'm so glad I got the Silver iMac. I can easily get a replacement for my mouse or keyboard if I have to. On top of that, I can get a matching Magic Trackpad if I feel like it. I'm so happy to see that during the presentation of MacOS Monterey, they only used silver iMacs. I think Apple has a thing for simplicity and minimalism. I think silver is the best color and if you like color, just change the wallpaper to whichever color you like. 😂

Thanks for the USB test! - always use my Mac's with Bluetooth turned OFF as I don't need it.

I paired it with my Macbook Pro and it paired flawlessly however, the volumes control don't work if you use an external audio interface. Is there a way around this?

Nice review. I would like to use this with my MacBook Air and IPad Pro. Once paired to both, how easy is it to switch from the Mac to the Ipad and then back to the Mac? Do you have to re-pair each time?

So the Touch ID button replaces the need to type your user account ID? So when my MAC mini asks for the password every time i do just about anything, like installing an app.

First timer considering getting M1 Mini. I think I'd get this keyboard instead of some other, cause touch ID seems just simply handy. One stupid question though. If I'd get M1 Mini and this keyboard. Could I sleep the computer and wake it if it's connected wirelessly via BT? I didn't notice anything mentioned in the video.
