THANK YOU! helped SO MUCH! I was doing the hard rest but you have to hold ALL of the "alt" "ctrl" and "shift" buttons on the keyboard then press R. I was only doing one side at first and wondering why it wasn't working.

Sweet thanks for the video.. I've had my stepson's chromebook for at least 3 years actually probably closer to 5, his grandma got it for him and he realized he couldn't play his Steam games so he got another laptop but the charger for this was messed up so it literally just sat for years I bought a charger for it the other day because I was tired of looking at it lol but then realized he had a password on it and he didn't remember it but This worked thanks again

i have samsung series 5 xe500c21 can the power wash is not in the settings and the ctrl shift alt R wont work .. what else can i do also i tried the sec refresh and power and that didnt work .. so im lost any ideas ?
