How to Fix a Slow-Pouring Culligan Reverse Osmosis System

Показать описание
We have a Culligan branded reverse osmosis system in our kitchen to provide drinking water, water for coffee or tea, water for cooking . . . you get the idea. Lately, the flow has been getting worse and worse. We would turn the system on and water would flow well for a few seconds, then slow, and finally trickle to a virtual stop. We started to wonder if the system was breaking down in some way. I called Culligan to arrange a visit. First, however, the person I spoke to suggested I try a rather odd trick with a bicycle pump. Check out my video and I'll show you how that worked.

Wow! thank you so much for this. i called culligan and they tell me it will cost $350 for them to come out and check the system. and $160 to buy the replacement filters. what a ripoff of these businesses. they could have simply suggested simple things like this for folks to try. i appreciate you and for taking the time to post this simple fix. Don't recall them telling us this at the time of installation. thank you!

Culligan quoted me over $400 to replace my filters. I've watched the culligan tech change my filters over the years and just paid. I decided this week to do the filter replacement myself. I found replacement filters on Amazon for less than $50 and when I watched another video on how to do the replacement, it seems simple. But I was concerned about the pressure in the tank, since they always adjust it when Culligan does it. I was about to give up when I found your video. So simple. Bicycle pump and a pressure meter will do it.THANK YOU🤓

THANK YOU SO MUCH dued. HOly crap. I replaced my refrigerator and had to turn off the water and run it out of tank. COuldnt get water flowing again but adding PSI to the holding tank sure did the trick! Thank you again

I called Culligan today. They did the opposite of help and answer questions. Their advice was to schedule an appointment with a tech. I know from past experiences that I would be $400 out the door.
Thank you

We are having the same problem and it is a royal pain. I distinctly remember our Culligan man showing that stem to us and telling us about this trick years ago however when we went to access the stem it was missing. At least that's what I thought until my husband looked and found it. Evidently the new tanks have that feature but the stem is located on the bottom of the tank right smack dab in the middle making it harder to access. You have to put the tank on its side.

Hmm, mine's a smaller unit under the sink, but I've found the same tank there, pumped it up, will see in the morning if anything changes.

Mio test.. 4lt.prelevati 18litri a perdere. È corretto? È possibile diminuire il consumo di acqua di scarto e da cosa dipende questa eccessiva dispersione. Un saluto Grazie
