Hey Guys this is a tutorial on how to manually back up your save file
your save file location
is C:// User/%computer_name%/appdata/Roaming/Elden Ring

I just copied the save file somewhere else and replaced it, and it worked fine.

Hey could you help me out here I recently had a free copy on Elden ring as I waited to be able to purchase the game. So I finally did that today backed up the save file and brought and installed the fully steam copy of the game. And I copied and pasted the old save data and put it in app data and into the save folder stems mad and when loading the game I get a error “can’t load save data” any idea how to fix this

Tried this, it won't let me play the game online anymore, it forces the game to play offline.

Hi, I've been playing elden ring on a pirate version, because I had no money for the official version and I wanted to give it a try. I liked it so much, and now I want to purchase the official version, but i don't want to lose my progress, can I upload my current character of the pirate version to the official version of the game?
