I think its a testament to how good the original art direction is when you can downgrade the graphics but still get that feeling of grandeur, this is very well made.

I remember back in 1996 when the first trailer of Elden Ring came out, we are all mind blown by the graphics and 3D capabilities of the PS1.

Used to play this game so much as a kid, me and all my friends would gather at recess to talk about all the cool secrets and stuff we've found or what bosses we beat over the weekend. Good times, 1996 was a whole other era, they don't make games like the used to

Technically the draw distance should be massively reduced given the ps1s hardware limitations. The first silent hill had fog because of these same limitations.

Great remake but I think it's stupid they used the same intro voice from 20 years ago. They could have used somebody more current for the PS5 version like The Rock or Cardi B
