Personally I think there is no point upgrading from anything higher than a 1070 card and the price you pay for a performance jump is not incredible to but still, I think a 1060 user should upgrade if they are willing and have the cash but in the end it’s all up to you how you spend your money and what components you have

Everyone keeps comparing the 2080 vs 1080ti? I guess because they perform very closely to each other. But keep in mind no benchmarks have been done on games running raytracing. So wait till the games running raytracing come out in October then decide. The benchmarks scores will be much different. That’s what ur paying for...

I'll need to see more out of RTX as well as products that support this new feature before I can justify purchasing a card from this new generation. The Pascal infrastructure is still an incredible performance-to-cost ratio and the 10 series cards have no trouble handling whats being thrown at it even 2 years down the line.
