I am a semi-retired pastor with 44 years of experience in public speaking. I'm investigating this field. I have a profile on Upwork, but I haven't actually done any narration. So I'm in research mode. I found your channel and I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. I actually received an invitation to audition for a narration, and that is when I realized I wasn't really ready for it. For one thing, they wanted a southern accent, and I think it was the fact that I was living in North Carolina at the time I created my Upwork profile that caused them to consider me. I am actually a Hoosier (Indiana) native. So I look forward to examining the help section on the acx site to learn and start making samples. Appreciate this video.😊

You are not only unaware as to how great a narrator you are, but you are humble by nature, caring and compassionate. You are a very special young woman. I am going to learn everything I can from your videos then "go for it!" A few years ago I was told several times a week by callers when I did receptionist work that I had a "vanilla voice" and would be well suited for "radio". I'm hoping that is still the case, I am 68 now but I'm sure there's something that needs the touch of a gentle grandmother :D

I started as an illegal radio station at the age of fourteen in 1986.
and I made all my radio jingles myself with a mixer the Monarch MMX-88 and a studio tape recorder. I quit after fifteen years of illegal radio station. and then I started making jingles for various radio stations and later commercials were added.
now i am almost fifty years old, and i still do my audio productions as producer / voice actor. I enjoy working in my home studio. and I still learn new things in audio technology every day
