This is hilarious. It’s like one of those parody videos about hipsters of obscure niches but it’s actually real. 😂. Definitely going to try some of these haha

Excellent suggestions! I must try the slippery elm tea!

Absolutely fabulous suggestions. The nebulizer would have been great for me when I was playing/singing professionally all through the 80s. Thank you. I've been very reluctant to do audiobook narrations. But, I'm going to give it a shot.

Super helpful! Although my ratio of labor to finished hours is not yet 2:1 LOL! More like 4:1, but I know I’ll get there someday! Thanks so much for this!

You are one of my favorite voice actors and I loved your work on nice dragon finish last the Heartstrikers series by Rachel Aarons I have listened to the series so many times. Thank you for you tips on being a voice actor.

I wonder if those of us that naturally talk a lot need much of this. Like, I talk all.day.long hahaha I was the kid that had the report card "talks too much" lol

So official audio books are recorded in a studio booth and not from home. So that requires travel? Right? Where are we traveling to, to record the official audiobook?

Would love a link to the massager and the vocal mist as in my searches on Amazon, I could not find what you were using. Needless to say, the face massager brought up many "interesting" options!

2 hours recording in the booth equals 1 finished hour - and that doesn't count the editing and engineering if you're handling that yourself! Then it can be closer to 4-6 hours of work equals 1 finished hour, depending on how quickly you can make your edits and adjustments. Still, a ton of fun 🙂

Some links to things like those thin lozenges would be great.

What brand of slippery elm tea do you use? There are too many, and most have bad reviews.
