I feel Amazon is a scam. I created and published audiobook Blue Ivy Brown Skin Girl, it was sold on Audible. Sean Diddy Combs had my author account eliminated, and Audible is still selling the audiobook, yet I don't earn any royalties. I'm contacting the IRS, to tell them I should not have to pay taxes because I don't receive royalties. ❤

Hello Nikki. Thankyou for this very helpful content. This cleared everything up for me. Currently I work at Wendy's and I normally work drive thru and take orders. I'm told time and time again by people that I have an amazing voice and I should consider singing, narrating, movie trailers etc... I've been hesitant and would just brush it off because its never been something I thought of pursuing growing up. Now that I've started watching your videos, and doing my own research I feel a lot more excited to jump into this opportunity. Thanks again!

Just starting out. Actually, the reason I decided to pursue audiobook narration is because I self published two books and wanted to narrate the audiobooks for them myself. I figured if I'm able to successfully pull them off, it could be a good direction for me to go on and narrate audiobooks for other indie authors.

Hi, I love the video and the way you explained the process. I can admit the most scary part of the process for me is when it comes Tax time and you have to file. This will be my first time EVER getting into a process and platform like this but I am VERY interested in making this a side hustle that I enjoy. Hey @nikkiconnected ...a royalty share contract does not give you 40% of each sale. Correction:

A royalty share contract gives the author AND narrator 40%, to SPLIT. Amazon keeps 60% of each sale, and you and the author each make 20% of the sale.
