Thank you Dr. Berry for everything you do! My income is SS and $23 in food stamps. I live in southern AZ and here we have a Food City which is considered a Mexican grocery store. They have the 73% ground beef which come in these 7-8 lb pkgs for $2.99 lb all the time. They always have chicken thighs and legs for around $1.29 lb. My local Safeway had london broil for $1.97 lb. I bought 20 lbs and pressure cook it and it is just so delicious & tender. I buy the cheap white eggs from Walmart. 75% of my meals are ground beef and eggs. Once a week I eat liver. I also eat sardines, canned salmon, and chicken. I buy bacon when on sale and save that precious bacon grease to cook my eggs in. I buy what's on sale and everything taste so good and I am never hungry. God bless you and your family.

There is progress happening. My diabetic husband was in the hospital for 5 days and requested a carnivore menu. The dietician happily accommodated and let him order eggs and bacon or as many hamburger patties as he wanted. They called up before each meal and asked what he would like.

Retired enlisted military here. 1 retirement pension with 5 children at home. Everyone is either Keto or Carnivore. Have been Carnivore for 6 years and have lost more than 100lbs and a myriad of conditions. Without a doubt it was cheaper to feed my family white rice and pasta....but at what cost?

Our staples are ground beef, eggs, butter, cheap steaks. We buy several cows a year and also store meat in the tube...Still the most nutrient dense food in the store.

I have type 2 diabetes. Recently I had surgery and stayed overnight. I had to stop my Metformin and Farxiga for the surgery. I told them I was eating carnivore to control my glucose, so don't bring me anything but meat and eggs. And bring me double portions. They did! This was at UAB hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

I'm a nurse in the 37th year of my career & I have never been more disillusioned with the medical profession as I have been over the past 4-5 yrs. I hate being part & parcel to the lies being told about ALL aspects of care & being powerless to do anything about it. I want out SO badly but am not close enough to retirement age to do so & I can't afford to quit & work at Walmart or whatever. The day I can get out will be a HUGE celebration day for me!

I tell people I'm allergic to carbohydrates...because I really am! I've never heard a dr.till now say it...I break out, retain water, get sores on my scalp and my blood sugar jumps over 200 if I eat carbs...
Eating keto has fixed my type 2 diabetes & my fatty liver has been reversed!! I still hv a long way to go but I'm healing...finally on the right track.

Dr. Cuccuzella was my Primary Care Physician before he left WVU. He saved my life and many of my friends' lives using his lifestyle changes of Low Carb High Fat diet and exercising running/walking (for me walking). I live an active lifestyle and have maintained my weight loss over the years. Thank you so much for having Dr. Mark on your show. He is a precious asset and invaluable source for the health care community.

This is what I eat as a female single senior citizen living below the poverty line in subsidized housing in Toronto Ontario Canada: Brunch: eggs and an avocado; Dinner: lettuce and seafood. I drink tap water. I buy: sardines, canned tuna, oysters and mussels at Dollarama. I buy the most expensive and best quality eggs available at the health food store, Carrot Common. I buy bags of avocados and lettuce in Chinatown. I'm almost 75 years old. I walk everywhere. I carry my own shopping in my own shopping bag. I don't pull any shopping buggy behind myself. I'm hoping to live until I'm at least 101 years old. Good luck to you all. Eat well and eat smart. 😊

I reclaimed my health after fighting, pancreatic cancer, stomach cancer, and I did survive. I realize that the food that I had been eating as a young woman was literally slowly killing me. So I began with a local nutritionist and they came and helped me have small grow beds where I grew my own berries and my own vegetables and herbs, too. Coupling all those healthy food groups with really good healthy, lean carnivore meat that was locally grown along with locally hatched eggs. I am now alive and cancer free going on 14 years. I attribute all that to my diet. I am now firm, believer and live by this mantra. “ if you cannot pronounce what you are eating why are you eating it”
I am now on the process of writing a book how I survive these cancers, and one day I would like to share it with you as well thank both of you doctors that I finally discovered you while I’m healing from a broken foot and I’ve been eating nothing but carnivore with some vegetables and I’m hoping I can lose some weight because I’m non-active so I’m working on my cookbook. Thanks guys for all your help.

The clamshell package of salad greens is $4 for 4 ounces. That is $16 per pound, folks. Then you have to buy all the stuff to put on the salad. Or…you can get a pound of premium ribeye steak for about $16. Carnivore is cheaper than rabbit food.

I am still amazed at the medical communities hatred of low carb.

🇺🇸💕🇺🇸. Just came from my monthly Dr appointment. I've been on carnivore for 7 days and lost 6lbs. I told my Dr that I started carnivore and he told me he had started it 5 weeks ago 🥰. I was happy to hear that he had planned on suggesting it to me. My appointment went a little longer. 🥰

Our budget didn't change at all when we went carnivore. We enjoy ribeyes and seafood on a regular basis, plus lots of ground beef and chicken thighs and roasts. In fact, we almost always have money left in our budget when the next paycheck comes around. My husband and I are both retired. The reason we get along so well is that we are not buying the chips, cereal, milk, fruit and all the JUNK we had been buying. We couldn't be happier with this way of eating! Thank you Dr. Berry for all you do!!

In South Africa Professor Noakes is a national HERO ! Thanks to him I started Banting which is our version of the low carbohydrate lifestyle. Professor Noakes faced a serious legal case because of his insistent assertion that sugars, starches and seed oils are poor choices for good health.
Love your videos, watching you from Krugersdorp, South Africa and I am six years in the low carbohydrate lifestyle thanks to Professor Tim Noakes

I just spent 10 days in a behavioral health hospital. I have type T2d controlled by diet A1 C 5.4. I would get 60 to 80 grams of carbs per meal in addition to up 6 packets of cookies
, chips, cereal bars, ice cream, pudding or crackers ; and 32 ounces of juice.

I refused most meals. I asked for bacon and eggs would receive rice crispies, almond milk, toast, apple and applesauce. At dinner would ask for a double portion of meat and would receive pasta, roll, fake butter, light salad dressing and a salad. Or I would order 2 cheeseburger patties with onions, pickles and tomatoes just to receive the diabetic meal of nonfat milk, mashed potatoes, corn with meatloaf .

I kept ordering ketogenic meals and they consistently provided me with high carb meals.

Nurses would comment on how good my blood sugar was and their blood sugar level was much higher.

The hospitalist doctor wanted to discharge me early because of my diet. They sent a dietitian to educate me about what I should be eating so could inject me with insulin.

I skipped meals, drank coffee and food from home.

From the Arctic. Canned salmon is mostly pink salmon. It is not pretty or fancy enough for fillets so it’s not farmed and less sought after by fish mongers but it is the staple salmon the people in the region live off of. We call it dog salmon because it’s so plentiful we feed it to our sled teams as well. Great stuff. We love to smoke it.

Canned mackerel is also a good choice, especially if you eat the bones in it. I am on disability, which is not much, but I buy ground chuck, ground pork, eggs, some natural cheese, bulgarian yogurt (only milk and bacteria), pork butt, pork chops or loin (if on sale), chuck or shoulder roast, butter, ghee (lasts forever), and a can of tallow (also lasts forever). My food cost has actually gone down since I started carnivore. It has really helped my autoimmune issues and all the stuff that comes with it.

Yes, Dr Berry, shame on those doctors who only want to prescribe drugs and not will to be open minded. They are making their patients worst than the disease.
