Here is what I ate today on the carnivore diet. I try to get a 70% fat ratio and 30% protein with at least 130g of protein per day. As mentioned, I think eating some processed meats is fine. Try to find the highest quality that you can afford, but dont worry too much about it. Eating some minimally processed sausage with zero carbs is so much better than eating a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast. Remember that sugar is the bigger enemy here by a long shot :)

Kielbasa is a staple in Eastern Europe and they are one of the strongest healthiest people on earth . My paternal grandmother ate it all the time lived to be 105 and she was Polish!

Processing is a big umbrella term for all the things we do to make food safe and edible. It includes stuff that’s good for us and stuff that’s good for the company that wants things shelf stable for longer so it can be sold and not thrown away. It’s that stuff that makes food that is too old to be eaten look like it’s still edible and generally messes with our bodies. So, cool with processing but I do try to avoid preservatives other than salt which can be washed away like with salt cod or diluted with other meat like when using salted butter or bacon to flavor other dishes. Just some thoughts. Thanks for the ideas!

The worst thing on here is the decaf coffee because it's more carcinogenic than cigarettes because of how the beans were decaffeinated.

Love your meat choices...including the very little processed meat...love tge savings.
I mostly use sardines with my Sardine Fasts...But I might start just having them with a meal too. Great omega-3 💙

You’re the first person I’ve finally heard taking supplements and being a carnivore. I want to do it, because I want to get rid of this Hashimoto’s diagnosis. But, I’ve put it off because I also thought it would be too expensive.

Agreed with the sausage i personally dont im primarily ground beef and pasture raised eggs. Im not supplement heavy but its weird it appears you and i dont supplement anything the same. Offseason im heavy on d3 and k2 and year around magnesium glycinate. I do add creme of tarter (non carnivore) to bone broth to up potassium (not reccomending that but if anyone is curious no more than 1 tsb daily you have to work up tolerance tho it can behave like a laxative)

Olive oil in sardines on carnivor i don't do seed oils only water in sardines. Gonna try the sausage. Thanks

Thank you for showing me what you eat in a day, my digestive issues have significantly improved since going carnivore. However I have not made a shift in my weight, and clearly I'm not eating enough. Thank you for what you do

Nothing wrong with sausages as long as they’re good quality. It’s just a mixture of minced meats and some spices.
