And you don’t have to live on hamburger, butter and eggs to be successful with keto or the carnivore diet and stay within your budget.

Mix the carnivore diet with intermittent fasting. Best thing you can do for your body health wise. And occasionally do a longer extended fast for repairing the body and resetting our systems.

Coming from an amateur boxer (im 21 years old ) i have chosen a carnivore diet to gain muscle and intake protein at high volumes due to heavy training regiments, i appreciate all your videos you explain so well, cheers from Steve in New York keep doing Youtube your great at it!

The struggle when you can’t even afford to buy in bulk or stock up because you don’t have the extra cash. 😞 I do what I can until things get better. And a chuck roast is about $15 a pound here in Canada. Even factoring in the dollar conversion rate, it’s ridiculous. I lean more keto than carnivore because it really is too expensive to eat carnivore right now.

I LOVE pork neck bones. A big package is only maybe $8. Season, coat in bacon grease, roast in 350° oven uncovered about 50 minutes then cover and cook another 20 minutes. And the leftover bones make great broth.

I love ribeye steak but it's too expensive now. The chuck steak is my go to meat and it's awesome.

Note: if you buy a whole chicken beware of trace Salmonella bacteria which is now on all chicken sold. Prepare it diligently, avoid cross contamination in the kitchen, have separate knives, cutting boards, etc.

Honestly... The carnivore diet is cheaper for me and I can splurge on some expensive stuff bc when I was eating carbs and sugar I ate a lot more food by far. Maybe even 4 times amount and that would be equivalent to the amount of money spent too

10 lb bags of chicken hind quarters--cut them up yourself and I wait for sales. I haven't paid more than 49 cents a lb for years. Local butcher shop has large fatty pork shoulders with two in a package for $1.49 that I bone out and package for individual servings. I do have a freezer and stock up when sales appear. My wife and I both eat keto and feel this is cheaper than the way we ate several years ago

My advice would be buying chicken hearts. They are cheap as hell for no one wants to buy them, even though they tast just like muscel meat but with a lot more micro nutriens.
I am quite picky and never got around with liver, but chicken hearts are great. They are a bit darker and richer in favor than the rest of the chicken, similar to duck.
