I started incorporating dumbbells into my bench pressing. Humbled me going down 20-30kg but... after only 6 weeks of doing them like this my barbell bench went up from 100kg for 1-12 reps to 105kg for 10-12 reps. thats an insane progression for me in 6 weeks. never seen such a jump since my newbie gains started. the only conclusion is that my pecs were the weak link in my bench press. I'll keep rotating every 6 weeks so what happens.

I copied the technique in the video, and i feel it mostly in my triceps and forearms. Im going to need to do some experimenting with the technique. I saw someone else recommend tilting the elbows to a 45° angle. I suppose it's worth a shot.

I never did like doing bench presses with dumbbells because I always feel out of rhythm

I need help. Whenever I do a db bench press, I feel it more on my forearms than on my chest itself. It feels like Im working my forearms out more than my chest.

What is the difference between this and Dumbell bench press? I mean i see a lot of guys doing like bench press just with dumbells and the degrees are different - not like this video.

Do this and you’ll damage your pecs. By pressing with your arms flared (90 degrees), you’re not effective targeting the pecs and instead your putting your shoulders at greater risk of injury. I’d recommend rotating your elbows 45 degrees
