- 1 cup + 3 tbsp (280g) Milk
- 2 tbsp (30g) sugar
- 2 tbsp (30g) olive oil
- 2 tsp (7g) yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 cups (420g) Strong Bread flour 13% protein

This is by far the best bread recipe i have come across. Since I discovered it I make it 2 to 3 times a week. I don't buy bread anymore. My family keeps asking me to make it for them.

I did not have the flour needed, but used my regular all purpose King Arthur’s flour. The loaf rose high and proud and browned and I added sesame seeds on top. Loaf is perfect. Thank you for another bread recipe of yours I will add to my rotation. Lovely.❤🍞🥪

bread flour is really hard to find where i live so i just tried it with all purpose flour and it is AMAZING, seriously the best sandwich bread i have tried, and i have already made it three times. i really thank you for this recipe, it works perfectly, its practically foolproof and it has made me happy each time

Will no one has explained the milk and the sugar and the olive oil in a recipe for bread thank you so much you may give yourself an academy award for YouTube for doing that because almost every recipe I've seen for bread says water.

Im never one to tout peoples things but have to say her book is one purchase Im glad I made last month from target. You dont have to be a master chef to create her dishes. Just patience, gather the ingredients and following the directions will yield wonderful results. Well done Emma, your book is wonderfully done from start to finish. Emma!! I baked your cibatta bread recipe yesterday which turned out soo airy and delicious! I'm planning on making your italian no knead bread next and I'll add this sandwich bread to my list! I hope you keep making more bread videos (especially Italian bread yuuuum). I also love how you explain the reason behind why you want to do certain steps - I don't think these things get explained enough. Understanding how bread works has really helped my baking skills I think. I feel like there are too many cookie and cake baking videos on youtube, so I get extra excited for your bread ones. <3 lots of love!

I made this recipe 3 days ago and it came out perfect! The bread is so soft and delicious, i left in the fridge to proof overnight and baked it in the morning, love it! Thank you emma ❤

I made this bread today and it turned out good!! I actually just finished having a slice before coming here to leave a comment. 🙈 even though I watched the whole vid and did everything the same way, I was somehow still shocked that it ACTUALLY looked like sandwich bread??? this is the fourth bread recipe I've tried, and I'm having a lot of fun trying new things!! but this is my fave recipe so far because it's the first one that truly is like store‐bought bread!! I was so excited when I cut the first slice!! the texture, colour, and density was perfect! when I toasted some and tasted it, it was delicious! and I can't believe that I made it! I haven't felt that pure happiness with something I've made in a while. I've always been super intimidated by breadmaking, so l will defs check out your other recipes. this made me feel much more confident in my baking skills. thank you for sharing this! ☺️
