How to check yourself for correct posture? - Shahnaz Hanif

When you stand or sit or lie, you should be able to attain a good posture, where you should be in relaxed state. And once you let go that posture, check if your body is collapsing, if this happens, then there is a concern, and you should start working towards posture stability. Pilates exercises help you achieve a good posture.
1. Check posture by standing in front of a mirror, facing towards your mirror, in ideal posture, your head will be in between your shoulders, and earlobes will be equal, shoulders will be in line, distance between shoulder and ears are aligned. Your hip, knee caps are aligned.
2. When turn to your side, earlobes and tip of shoulders will be in line with each other. Chest should not be popping out. Side of your ankle will be in line with hip.
