The M3 Pro 16' MacBook Pro is just perfect!

Apple's latest M3 Pro MacBook Pro 16" is insanely fast. Upgrading from the M1 Max 14" MacBook Pro which is definitely a super fast computer for the next two to three more years, but that new Space Black color, bigger screen, and upgraded performance is just calling my name. Can the new M3 Pro beat out Apple's M1 Max or even the M2 Pro? Watch the video and find out.

I am very excited to upgrade in a few weeks to the Macbook Pro M3 Pro!
Writing this comment on my 12 year old (!) 2012 Macbook Pro Retina (back in the day it was the first time Steve Jobs introduced the retina display) which i bought when starting college in 2012 for a wopping 2700 euros of student money. What a journey it has been for me with this device! It stood with me during my 6 years of college, i wrote my master thesis with this laptop, i wrote my girlfriend (now wife)'s master thesis with this laptop, i started my first wedding photography business with this laptop around 2018 which made me a ton of money and now currently my wife is using this laptop for her own baby photography business that she started and she still using this laptop for professional photoshop editing! UNBELIEVABLE. It's crazy to look back on the journey! But it's time to move on, I am sure the Macbook Pro M3 Pro will be worth every penny over the long run too and i hope to write a similar comment in 2036!!

Great video review! I upgraded from my 2019 15 inch Intel MacBook Pro to the new 2023 M3 Pro 16 inch MacBook Pro and I love it! It performs phenomenally! I got the 512GB SSD/36GB RAM because Final Cut Pro projects I keep on external SSD drive, same with my photo library.

I have a 2017 MBP and man... It always needs 10-30 seconds to open an app (depends on the app) and the fan is always going nuts. I'll get my M3 Pro 16" in a few days and I'm happy about it :-) I really don't need the M4 Pro that's coming later this year. This Macbook is already a BEAST. Thank for the review!

great video / review. We need more real world opinions from people like you that use the MacBook for its intended use. Getting the M3 Pro 36GB RAM seems like the best bang for buck - what I got. Why did you go for the 4TB for $1400 more rather than using external storage?

For me, the differences, the application, Vivid, it makes the display 50% brighter so I'm getting the 16 inch MacBook Pro

I just got a M3 Pro MacBook Pro 16" from work (base 18GB model) to replace a 4 year old Intel MacBook Pro 16" and I agree it's a very noticeable upgrade. Everything feels much faster, waking from sleep mode is basically instant. I haven't had a chance to put it through its paces yet but I can see the battery lasting for ages - it sat at 100% for about 30 mins of light use after already being in sleep mode for about an hour.

Hello Mark, can we get an update on your experience compared to the M1 Max — Would you say that 16gb RAM M3 Pro outclasses the 32GB RAM M1 Max? I've heard that many customers are returning to their M1 Max after a couple of weeks using the M3 Pro 16". Thanks!
