In this day and age, there is NO excuse for drunk driving. Uber, Lyft, taxis, taking a subway, taking a bus, calling a friend, hell... you can even sleep it off in your car. Just make sure to take the keys out of the ignition. Throw the book at this guy.

The girl who died in the crash was my moms good friend and coworker. Watching her breakdown after they released the name was horrible. I also met her a few times and she was super sweet.

Re: Ruggs III--when he makes a touchdown, he holds up 3 fingers in memory of a coach (IIRC) who died in a car accident. Dude--you could have honored his memory by not getting drunk AF and killing someone in an accident.

The only way a drunk driver killing someone is an "accident" is if they slipped and fell into a car that rolled into someone. Getting into a car drunk, turning it on, driving 150 mph, and killing someone is not an "accident"

Ruggs needs to be severely punished. Today is the 23rd anniv of my Mom’s death from a drunk driver. He took away a 49 yo successful, beautiful, healthy, matriarch of our family - 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren (now 5), and a wife of 30 years. It broke all of us, turned us into a dysfunctional family and it never gets better. Literally never! I beg you to think of this before considering driving impaired. It takes the life of many besides the victim.

I could get calling it an accident if he was barely over the limit and driving at a reasonable speed. If your going 100+ mph it doesn’t matter, it’s honestly insane he survived.

I don't think Valkyrae's situation blew up cause she was a woman, I think it's because she's known for being a genuine streamer, so when she promoted a product that seemed so fishy, her audience revolted. Honestly, if this happened to any other sleazy streamer, it might have just been brushed aside as "streamer takes advantage of dumb twitch viewers" and no one would really bat an eye.

It was the fact this skincare product was obviously snake oil and that didn't made sense with Valkyrae's twitch personality that made this blow up. People were honestly confused.

Ruggs had so much potential, but none of it matters now. He took the life of two innocent victims. My condolences to the Tintor family.
