Cody being diagnosed with ODD and having parents like that? I would distrust the diagnosis at that point, considering how ruthless the parents were on camera. You can only imagine how bad it was off...

Family channels are abuse. It's plain and simple. Privacy is a right, not a privilege and It sickens me to imagine never having a single moment to yourself. Imagine you are in a distressing situation and all you want is to be comforted by your own parents, your carers who are supposed to love you unconditionally, and that moment gets shared with everyone and anyone. I hate it so much and it needs to stop.

There’s one channel with a wife and husband that I support. They gave birth to a child, and even though the comments were urging them to show the child, they said no. Why? Because it was *their* channel, and not the baby’s. The child also did not consent to being shown online. I support them

One of the other awful things DaddyOFive did with his kids was influencing his older children to also "get in on the pranks" (abuse) on Cody and Emma. I cannot imagine the long lasting effects on them, especially the guilt. They might wonder how they could've done such things/blame themselves, even though it was all under the parents control.

Ok but the daddyofive parents DELIBERATELY pranking their own child with a disorder and knowing that he would have a terrible reaction is just disgusting

(8 Passengers) Both Jodi and Ruby pled guilty to 4? counts each. They’re awaiting sentencing in February. Pretty atrocious details were in their pleas. Ruby admitted to kicking kids with boots on, submerging them in water and cutting off their oxygen supply by covering their nose and mouth. Jodi’s plea admitted to throwing a kid into a cactus more than once. Pretty horrifying stuff. It’s a miracle none of these children were killed.

My younger brother has ODD, and after seeing Cody being abused that way angers me so much. I can’t believe they would do something like this to their own son. My family loved my brother despite his ODD, and I would never imagine doing something like that to him.

And then there’s that one family channel that adopted a child with autism and then basically returned him bc it was too much for them to handle 😭

I’ve had ODD since I was around 7 or 8 years old— and now I’m 19 and still living with it. (I’ve also been diagnosed with Autism as well) It’s not fun and can cause a lot serious problems with family, friends, and work. I’ve been fortunate enough to have a family that took the time to learn about ODD, understand how it works, and how it can effect people. I’m truly grateful and blessed. Hearing that Cody was diagnosed with ODD and that his parents took advantage of it to simply gain views is heartbreaking. I truly hope he is doing well now and that he knows he’s not alone💜
