She went in for a simple procedure on her vocal chords which is not a big deal but before the procedure, she was telling her daughter that if she didn't make it that they had a wonderful life. She knew, that she was going to be killed. She realized she made a mistake by publicizing Michelle being transgender. I really am pissed those reporters ambushed her and asked her about Michelle's gender knowing she would speak the truth. Rest in Peace Joan, you were the best!

I met her her years ago, my boss told me that she couldn't have her dog walking even if it was on a leash. I was intimidated because she was such a big star. I approached her ay said, excuses Ms. River's, would you mind carrying your dog? She was so pleasant pleasant, smiled at me and said "of course" my interaction with her showed me a very "Great Lady!"
