I appreciate that the journalist pointed out the limitations of the AI, correctly stating that it is not an example of sentient AI. This is the perfect example of how the Turing test is an antiquated method for measuring sentience, as it is easier to mimic intelligence than to have functional intelligence.

It's hard to believe that the creepiness was not caught by Micrsoft's quality control before they released a version to journalists. I wonder if one or more of the developers share this 'feature' with the AI.
