A field bag that works day to day. I like that. Of course, I've used an od green range bag (molle loops and all) as an overnight bag just cause it was easier to throw a shaving kit in there than to move a bunch of stuff into a regular bag...

To anyone wanting to buy this bag... The bag that Colion Noir has in the video is the Armordilla V1. The company no longer has this bag. They have moved to the V2 bag. The cover that clips on the front now wraps all the way around the bag. Making it to where you can no long draw your firearm front the top with out undoing the clips and removing the cover to gain access. You can only draw from the sides now. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Just got mine in today. Not super happy with it

I second the "bright colors" idea. The older I get the harder it is to see a dark object against a dark background.

Another idea: It wouldn't be too hard to make this into a unit which converts from a messenger bag to a knapsack.

If you must run for your life, getting a messenger bag strap caught on an object could ruin your day.

I just got mine yesterday for my birthday. The jury is still out on it but I agree with you 100%. They tried to change something to make it better but in fact made it worse.

I'm glad to see an urban bag instead of a backwoods backpack. I agree that the draw looks cumbersome, but it is what it is. I have seen ladies varieties that allow rear "sleeve" removal. that way you can keep your hand on the weapon casually when walking in rough areas. I wonder if they considered this?

For a discreet carry bag: I suggest the Lowepro Passport Sling watch?v=eDA5fJEkWAU or the Sling II.
While it isn't not designed for CC, per se, it's actually a camera bag disguised as a messenger bag. The way the modular insert works is so versatile; with creativity (and strategic use of safety pins) you can turn the bag into basically anything. I carry a DSLR body w/t 2 lenses, one a 300mm zoom, (and space to smuggle a ⅖th bottle of brandy) with more room to spare.
I love the crap out of mine.

Currently rocking the Uncle Mike's version that is similar to this bag. It's better concealment design is what lead me to it. Same velcro opening and what-not. And it looks closer to a laptop messenger bag than yours does. Overall the quality is average, though - cheap nylon. I'm hoping more companies (hint maxpedition) can wake up and smell the demand for this design. Thanks for the review and keep up the great work. Huge fan.

I use the maxpedition monsoon. It doesn't hold a lot but it gets the job down. No one recognize it so far. I've have it over a year. Ps I love the hat in the video. And that it's not your typical review. Superb job.

I honestly will be buying this bag if the main middle pocket can fit a 5D with a 85mm F1.2II L lens.
-other stuff I carry
-Asus Prime Laptop (Like a Macbook Air)
-Ipad Mini in a portfolio case
-2 portfolios

I wonder if those "Big ass zipper pockets" can fit DSLR Lenses
A problem I have with the messenger bag is the 2 big buckles in the front (dont like them) I wonder if they can make it without the buckles and make the "clear pocket" smaller and have velcro attached to the backside

I've thought about carrying a messenger bag for CC, but honestly a 310 lbs dude in carharrt and cowboy boots carrying a man purse attracts more attention than open carry.
